Summerhouse on Gotland

This time of the year the houses on Gotland are coveted objects at the real estate agencies. Take a look at this little gem with open planning, pool and roughcasted façade, close to the barren landscape!

See the whole object at Fantastic Frank.

Charmy stone house in Sweden

Such beautiful architecture of this charmy stone house in southern Sweden. Here lives the blogger Malin Persson with her Italian husband and three kids. I like the rooftop, windows, doors, terrace and pillars with stone balls...

Forest house by Norm Architects

The Forest house by Norm Architects is situated on a forest lot north of Copenhagen. The house has been completely redone to interact with the surrounding nature and open up the atmosphere inside with less walls to give it an airy Scandinavian style.

I really love the result. The purity and simpleness and how the design classics stand out against the white walls and the beautiful changing scenery.

The pictures just strenghten my feeling that the Grand Prix chair and the LTR table would be such a good match in my home, too...

Summerhouse on Gotland

I have waited for electronic pictures from this beautiful house on Gotland, but as they cannot be found I photographed one myself from the Plaza Interiör magazine. A bit on the slant but it is too dark now to take a new one. What I wanted to show was the nice summerhouse with the untreated front which will turn grey in course of time, the huge windows, the beautiful, grey limestones and in fact, the smallest detail, which inspired me equally much, if not the most... the terracotta pot with the yellow flower. All this in such a nice combination.

The whole story can be read in issue 8/2014 of Plaza Interiör.

Feel the breeze!

 Found via Emma's Pinterest

This was just so very nice that it had to be posted immediately. Parisian bedroom with pivoting window, featured in the stylist Hans Blomquist's and photographer Debi Treloar's book The Natural Home (2012). Lovely!
